Nelson here… This has nothing to do with the usual content of this site, but R&B singer and actress Aaliyah died after a small plane that was to carry her and eight others back to the United States crashed after takeoff in the Bahamas, authorities said. Aaliyah, who co-starred with martial artist Jet Li in the 2000 action flick “Romeo Must Die,” plays the title role in the film adaptation of the Anne Rice novel “Queen of the Damned” and was cast in “The Matrix 2,” both due in 2002.
