Bumblebee you rocks!!!

Its great to see the first look of new Characters Spinger, Devastator, Jetfire, and Megatron kicking Optimus Prime. Bumblebee Music is really great and Megan Fox is more sexier and really freaking owesome.

July 31, 2008 – At the press junket for the action-crazy car movie Death Race Tyrese Gibson had a lot to say about another film he’s busy working on – Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Gibson claims Michael Bay’s second robot movie is loaded with bigger action sequences than the first film. “It’s just crazier,” said Gibson. “It’s more angry. It’s bigger explosions, more robots, and Michael Bay is just in rare form right now.”

Asked to explain the ‘more angry’ description, Gibson replied, “It’s just more angry. ‘More angry’ meaning the conflict between the robots and the humans. The stakes have been brought up to a whole other level, like the conflicts between the humans and the Decepticons. And then the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons – [it's] just more angry.”

Gibson did a good job of not giving away too much inside info, even when asked about aspects of the film that are sort of public knowledge (i.e. bigger robots). “It’s just more robots. I’m not saying bigger…”

He also couldn’t confirm whether Bay’s given his character, Epps, his own robot. “I can’t say, man. I can just say this, that Michael Bay is definitely giving Epps a lot of love in this one. So it’s going to be special. I’ve been interacting with robots. Most of the conversations between robots was with Shia [LaBeouf]’s character and the robots, and we kind of stayed away from talking to them. So I’ve had a few conversations with some robots. It’s real interesting,” explained Gibson.

And speaking of Bay, Gibson says the filmmaker is definitely excited over this sequel. “At the end of the day, this is the sequel of the most successful film he’s ever directed. If that don’t create anticipation then I don’t know what will. It’s like at the end of the day, to have a film that is also Oscar-nominated for the special effects and all these other things…”

Filming is still underway on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, although the film’s lead actor, LaBeouf, was forced to take some time off due to injuries he suffered as the result of a car accident. But according to Bay, production wasn’t shut down and they were able to shoot around LaBeouf while he recovered. In fact, at the time of this interview, the Transformers 2 crew was in the middle of night shoots. “We’re rolling,” said Gibson. “I just did a night shoot. That’s why I was kind of tired yesterday because we shot until about 6:30 in the morning. So we’re doing the night thing right now and then we’re going back to Alamogordo, White Sands, to do some more of that rock star stuff out there. It’s like the stakes are just 1000 percent higher, just crazy.”

“We’ve got about two and a half more months of shooting,” added Gibson. “We’ve got to go overseas. It’s full throttle.”

So where do we find Epps two years after the events of the first Transformers movie? “I am at the top of my class,” revealed Gibson. “I am the highest ranking officer of my class, which I can’t say, but I’m sure you all can pull that up on the internet. As far as my world, I am the highest ranking. It’s crazy. While we’re on these military bases, people are walking up to me that are in the military like, ‘Oh, I mean, man, sir. Man, you’re like the top.’ So it’s exciting.”

July 16, 2008 – IGN chatted with Transformers actress Megan Fox this week at the Television Critics Association summer press tour where the beauty spoke about the Michael Bay-directed sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, as well as her forthcoming thriller Jennifer’s Body.

Q: How is Transformers 2 going?

Megan Fox: It’s going good. It’s gigantic!

Q: Compared to the first, you’d say it’s way bigger?

Fox: It’s twice the budget, so yeah.

Q: Can you say where this movie picks up for your characters?

Fox: It’s two years later, so when it comes out it will be present day. Shia [LaBeouf, who reprises his role as Sam Witwicky] and I have been dating for two years, so it’s kind of like old news. There’s no big love scenes or anything like that – you kind of get into the couple bickering now. That stage, like the old married couple. That’s all I can say!

Q: Have you been keeping in touch with your Transformers buddies in those two years?

Fox: With Shia, yeah.

Q: (Referring to her Star Wars t-shirt, complete with Darth Vader picture) Are you a Star Wars fan?

Fox: I’m a Star Wars fan. I’m a Star Trek fan. I’m a big nerd. I’m a big, giant comic book nerd.

Q: Are you going to go down to Comic-Con?

Fox: Yeah.
